Boys with thir cricket bags in AustraliaCricket Fiji is the national sporting organisation responsible for the development, promotion and governance of cricket in Fiji and has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1965. The organisation achieves this through a range of initiatives including junior development programs, tournaments, high performance programs, cricket education courses, facility development, public relations, and marketing.

Although the national team’s progress is what many people focus on, we believe that domestic cricket, at both an elite and recreation level is equally as important. Without grass roots cricket we would not have a sustainable and ongoing pool of players from which to develop our national sides, and what is equally as important is that we promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle, which includes regular exercise, to all Fijians, no matter what their cricketing ability.

As an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Cricket Fiji is one of 104 national cricket associations worldwide. Cricket Fiji is a member of the East-Asia Pacific Region and is one of only four ICC Associate Members among the region’s ten members. To qualify as an ICC Associate Member it is a requirement to provide evidence that the national cricketing body has a firmly established and organised cricket structure.

Cricket Fiji is a not-for-profit organisation.
