National Men's middle order batsman, Makutu Seru has been selected in the ICC East Asia Pacific Team to compete in the 2018 Australian Country Championship in Western Australia from the 7th - 14th of January.
Seru caps off a stellar year following his heroics for Moce in the 2017 Easter Tournament and winning the Batsman of the Tournament at the 2017 ICC EAP tournament in Bendigo, Australia earlier this year.
"I'm honoured to represent EAP at such a strong event and I look forward to playng my part and bringing back what I learn to assist the Fiji Team", Seru mentioned.
The championship will feature the likes of heavy weights NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria and will feature shared T20 and One Day formats in Geraldton, WA.
Also joining Seru is National Men's Head Coach and High Performance Manager, Josefa Rika who will be coaching the team alongside Vanuatu Head Coach and Australian national, Shane Deitz.
Rika is an accredited Level 3 Cricket Australia Coach will be making his third appearance in the EAP side as a coach after representing the side in the Country champs as a player between 2009 - 2011.

The pair depart Fiji on the 5th of January 2017.
